Intro
My name is Paul, and I’ve been making custom knives in Melbourne, Australia, for around ten years. I initially designed the Warhammer as my blade for the Aussie outdoors. It needed to be big but not too big, heavy but not too heavy. The design started with a very subtle parang profile but with Kukri's forward blade angle and recurve. Also, by not bringing the blade to a typical Kukri point, I was able the keep more weight as far forward as possible, which allowed this blade to chop above its weight class. The slight clip point still allows it to stab and penetrate nicely. The top of the clip point meets the spine at a slightly elevated point which works amazingly well as a glass breaker and impact weapon (hence the “Warhammer” name). The finger choil also allows excellent control for any delicate work. In short, the Warhammer is a sizeable multi-function blade capable of just about anything you can throw at it.
