We intentionally leave the flat surfaces of each blade unground to preserve their rugged, forged character. As a result, every blade is unique. Some may feature small dings or subtle steel rolling marks, which are natural characteristics of the material and finishing process rather than defects.

The PWB-9NC (Puzon Wilderness Bowie) is a large, purpose-built fixed blade designed around a simple idea: the knife the hero would carry when the story gets real.
 
Designed by Dave Puzon, owner and founder of Positive Made LeatherCraft, the PWB-9NC draws inspiration from a lifetime of legendary knives, characters, and wilderness stories. Its design takes cues from the bolo knives issued to Filipino soldiers during World War II, along with the iconic blades and adventures associated with Rambo, Daniel Boone, Kit Carson, and Jim Bowie.
 
Dave wanted to create something that felt at home on the hip of the Alamo defenders, yet would be just as appropriate for someone heading deep into the wilderness. A knife that could build a shelter, process wood, skin and butcher game, and serve as a dependable tool when things don't go according to plan.
 
The result is a substantial wilderness Bowie with a classic spirit and modern construction.
Made from Böhler K329 steel, the PWB-9NC measures approximately 16.5 inches overall, with a 10.2 inch cutting edge. This is the non-choil version, offering a continuous cutting edge and a clean, traditional Bowie profile.
