Designer:
Paul Walker
Intro
My name is Paul and I’ve been making custom knives here in Melbourne Australia for around 10 years. I initially designed the Warhammer as my personal blade for the aussie outdoors. It needed to be big but not too big, heavy but not too heavy. The design started off with a very subtle parang profile, but with the forward blade angle and recurve of a Kukri. Also by not bringing the blade to a typical Kukri point, I was able the keep more weight as far forward as possible which allows this blade to chop above its weight class. The slight clip point still allows it to stab and penetrate nicely. The top of the clip point meets the spine at a slightly elevated point which works amazingly well as a glass breaker and impact weapon (hence the “Warhammer” name). The finger choil also allows great control for any fine work. In short the Warhammer is a large multi function blade that is capable of just about anything you can throw at it.
