The hoplites of ancient Greece were renowned for their skills with the spear. The hoplite spear point is a compact tool that can easily be affixed to a sturdy branch to create a survival spear. For thousands of years, spears have served many functions,s including hunting or even defense against wild animals. The hoplite spear point can also be used as a compact knife if necessary, and its sharp choil can strike a ferrocerium rod to get your subsequent fire going.
