The Gen 2 introduces key refinements to improve both performance and handling. The handle has been slightly enlarged, providing a fuller, more secure grip for better control during extended use. The steel has been upgraded from SK85/A8Max to Böhler K329, delivering enhanced toughness and edge stability. A false edge has also been added to improve penetration and overall efficiency in thrusting tasks.
The wolverine roams the boreal forests from Canada to Siberia. It may not be the largest predator, but its ferocity is undeniable. True to its namesake, the Aurora Borealis Wolverine is a medium-sized knife built to bridge the gap between compact fixed blades and large choppers.
Designed as a capable survival tool, it features a 6.5-inch blade with a robust 4.8mm thickness—stout enough for batoning and light chopping when needed. The convex edge geometry, combined with a thumb ramp and ergonomic handle, allows for precise control, making detailed tasks like carving and feather sticking surprisingly comfortable for a knife of this size.
