The clip-point Bowie is an enduring symbol of American blade design—a true multipurpose tool built for versatility and performance. The V44X draws its inspiration from the legendary Marine Raider Bowies of World War II, commonly referred to as the V44. Originally procured by Lt. Colonel Carlson for the 2nd Raider Battalion, these knives proved themselves in the harsh jungle conditions of the South Pacific.
While honoring the iconic lines of the original Raider Bowie, the V44X has been refined to enhance ergonomics, balance, and overall performance. A wide fuller has been incorporated as a nod to the original double fuller design, while reinforcing the bold presence of a large Marine fighting knife.
Built with aggressive styling and practical function in mind, the V44X is designed to excel across a wide range of tasks—from bushcraft and field work to demanding outdoor use. It delivers power, control, and durability in a modernized platform that respects its heritage.
