Inspired by the nihontō, the traditional Japanese blade carried by samurai since the Heian period, the Tanto-X pays homage to centuries of craftsmanship and discipline. The tantō was originally designed for close-quarters combat, but over time, it evolved into a symbol of precision, honor, and reliability.

Type B continues this legacy with a modernized design, engineered for performance in demanding environments. It is constructed from premium Böhler K329 steel and features a lower saber grind—delivering enhanced durability and improved slicing performance, particularly through dense materials like wood.
