We intentionally leave the flat surfaces of each blade unground to preserve their rugged, forged character. As a result, every blade is unique. Some may feature small dings or subtle steel rolling marks, which are natural characteristics of the material and finishing process rather than defects.

The Mizaram is a large fixed-blade chopper designed for demanding work in the jungle and wilderness. Its long, straight-back profile delivers a substantial cutting edge and forward-reaching geometry, making it well suited for clearing vegetation, chopping branches, processing wood, and tackling the rough work of life in the field.
The blade shape draws on the original Atayal XL, particularly its distinctive straight-back concept. Mizaram takes that idea in a larger, purpose-built direction, creating a powerful chopper with a clean and highly functional profile.
 
At approximately 18.9 inches overall and 12.25 inches at the cutting edge, Mizaram gives you plenty of reach while staying purpose-driven for hard outdoor use.
The secondary edge is sharpened to 32° to provide additional edge robustness for heavier chopping and demanding field work. It is designed to favor durability where a large chopper needs it most—out in the wild, where the edge may encounter more than just soft vegetation.
Mizaram comes with a handmade taco-style Kydex sheath, providing secure carry and practical blade protection while you're moving through the backcountry.
