Mini Tayal (BLK)-SK85-SP
Mini Tayal is a compact size hunting knife featuring a 4" long trailing point blade plus modified Japanese tanto. The knife made of 0.119" thick Japanese SK85 steel. The total length of the knife is 9" long—Skelton tang for weight reduction. The blade is being carefully heat-treated to 56-58 with a double tempering process for maximum durability and flexibility and makes it easier for resharpening.
The blade comes with hand sanding finishing, so extra precautions will need to be taken place. We also recommend personalizing the blade with vinegar for a forced patina look.
-The handle is made of 3D machined G10 material and is removable for cleaning or replacement.
-The handle is rounded for a more comfortable grip and will not cause any hot spots.
-Starting the fire with a Ferro rod on the 90-degree spine will be much more efficient in the field
-Taco style sheath is made of 0.08" thick Black Kydex sheet, and each sheath comes with a custom belt loop
The knife weighs around 7 oz; 8.5 oz with sheath.
